MARIKA MARIANO
PhD Student
I am a first-year PhD student in Clinical Neuroscience at the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milano-Bicocca. I achieved my Master’s degree in Applied Experimental Psychological Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca in July 2020.
My main research interest is motor cognition and motor awareness. In particular, my actual research activity is focused on investigating neurocognitive aspects of the sense of agency. To this aim, I take advantage of a combination of different techniques: behavioral, neuroimaging (functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI), and meta-analytical. Moreover, I am going to approach this topic by the application of new technologies, and in particular of virtual reality.
