I am a Psychologist (Master Degree and professional qualification achieved in July 2017 and January 2019, respectively) with a PhD in Neurosciences (received in March 2021).
My main research interest is multisensory integration, in particular to the study of sensorimotor transformations for guiding actions. During my PhD, I investigated the motor preparation of the grasping behaviour in healthy subjects exposed to perceptual manipulations by combining psychophysics and kinematics measurements. I am also interested in perception-action dissociations, affordances, and visual illusions.
I am currently studying interpersonal coordination in joint actions. I approach this topic by investigating spatiotemporal features of finger tapping in dyads during a sensorimotor synchronisation paradigm.
